2017 April RC Report Summary

Dear Rotary coordinators,

Thank you for providing feedback on your progress, success and challenges on your April report. We had a 100% response rate on the April report!

Attached you will find a summary aggregating your progress towards goals and exploring common successes and challenges you have experienced in your work. While several trends developed across your reports, the key role new, innovative, and flexible clubs are playing as a generator of membership growth in your regions really stood out.

In line with this, I want to make sure you are all aware of the new Starting a Rotary Club resource on Rotary.org. The newly revised guide reflects the enhanced flexibility coming from the COL. Promote this publication in your work to help districts with their new club formation efforts. Remember to continue sharing stories of successful new, innovative, and flexible clubs with me.

Many of you are also actively delivering regionally created curriculum in your districts. We are sharing coordinator-created curriculum on the best practices section of the regional leader’s workgroup. If you have developed or contributed to a training program taking place in your region, I encourage you to share those materials with me to add to the resources on the workgroup.

Thank you again for your dedication throughout the year. Your work is instrumental to strengthening Rotary.

Sincerely,
Nora Beamish-Lannon
